Concrete Repairs

To counter the industry鈥檚 skill shortages, Concrete Repairs has established its own in-house training 鈥渟chool of excellence鈥. It invests, on average, 拢650 each year in every employee. An Investor In People for five years now, the training culture at Concrete Repairs ensures very low staff turnover. One employee has just celebrated 50 years with the firm. Environmental awareness is also high on the training agenda.

FK Roofing

Turnover up 51% and profits by 410% show FK Roofing was doing all the right things last year, and just as importantly, doing them to the highest safety standards. Each employee was given a personal development plan last year, which sets stretching personal goals and identifies training needs. Supplier training days are in place with all supply-chain partners, ensuring staff are up-to-date with all roofing and cladding products, which in turn improves safety techniques.
