Contractor targeting growth in the south west after recent project wins in the region
Willmott Dixon has opened an office in Exeter as it targets growth in the south west.
It comes after the contractor recently won several projects in the region, including a deal to build a 拢20m new home for the Met Office鈥檚 鈥榮uper computer鈥 at Exeter Science Park (pictured).
The firm鈥檚 presence in the region started less than three years ago and since then it has delivered four schools in Plymouth and a free school in Exeter.
Willmott Dixon said it has 鈥渕ore work opportunities in the pipeline鈥 in the region, which 鈥渦nderlines the growth opportunities in the south west.鈥
Ten people will be based full-time at the Exeter office, with a further nine using the office when working on local sites.
Willmott Dixon鈥檚 managing director for the region, Neal Stephens, said: 鈥淲ith many projects already delivered and more in the pipeline, we feel now is the right time to establish an Exeter base to serve our customers and work with our local supply chain.鈥
