Restored and redeveloped museum opens its doors at special ceremony attended by architect Lord Foster

The redeveloped Lenbachhaus Museum in Munich, Germany, has opened its doors.

The scheme was designed by Foster + Partners and includes restoration of the art museum’s historic buildings and the creation of an exhibition wing.

The remodelling has created an entrance space and social spaces including a restaurant, terrace and education facilities.

The building was reopened at a ceremony on Tuesday attended by Lord Foster.
