Timber door maker Jeld-Wen has released the Clifton range of softwood doorsets, which the company claims maximise daylight in a home without compromising security.
The casement doorsets achieve the security performance standards set out in PAS 24. They are available in five styles and are produced from engineered knot-free timber with a 54mm door leaf thickness for enhanced security and thermal performance.
The doorsets are supplied treated with a timber preservative and a choice of base stains or full factory finishing. Low-E insulating glass units, which have a centre pane value of 1.4W/m2K, are provided as standard.
All hardware is provided with the doorsets, which come with multi-point locking and silver or gold effect handles and thresholds as standard. The doorsets can be supplied in two widths – 856mm and 932mm – with single or double sidelight options and left or righthand opening. A variety of designs is available.
