Ian Simpson Architects has won an RIBA competition to design a 拢5m National Wildflower Centre in Knowsley, Merseyside
The architect鈥檚 submission envisages a compact conference centre inspired by the shape of a wild flower head. Landlife, the client, has aspirations to make the building achieve an 鈥渙utstanding鈥 BREEAM rating. Simpson鈥檚 team includes engineers Adams Kara Taylor and Hoare Lea and cost consultant Cyril Sweett.
