BAM Construct, Shepherd and Environments for Learning will build the first 好色先生TV Schools for the Future secondary schools in the borough
Three firms have been shortlisted for a 拢180m 好色先生TV Schools for the Future scheme in Stockton.
BAM Construct, Shepherd and Environments for Learning 鈥 a consortium led by Interserve 鈥 have been shortlisted for the deal.
Bishopsgarth School and Ian Ramsey Church of England School will be the first secondary schools in the borough to benefit from BSF investment.
In June the council will evaluate the three bidders鈥 ideas in order to decide which organisations should progress to the next stage of the procurement process. Two shortlisted bidders will then enter into a further period of discussions with the council in order to further develop their initial designs.
Councillor Alex Cunningham, Stockton council鈥檚 cabinet member for children and young people, said: 鈥淚 am looking forward to seeing each of the bidders鈥 ideas develop. I am confident that the successful consortium will help us create learning environments that will fully support and compliment new ways of teaching and learning in our schools. This significant investment will enable us to provide our young people with access to first class learning opportunities and consequently ensure they have the best possible future life chances.鈥
