RICS calls on its members to nominate themselves onto a list of most influential surveyors

The first league table of surveyors on Twitter has been published.

An initial list of 50 influential RICS members active on the social media site includes companies and individuals working in land, property and construction. The league table will continue to develop as surveyors become more active. If you are a member of RICS you can nominate yourself or your company by following the instructions below.

The most influential user so far is is founder of a Harlow-based building surveyor and project manager.

are next on the list, which was compiled by construction social media company and RICS using the online ranking website PeerIndex.

PeerIndex ranks Twitter influence out of 100 according to authority, activity and audience.

RICS has given Twitter its blessing. RICS鈥� Jaclyn Dunstan said: 鈥淭his is an excellent way for RICS members to increase their exposure. Through Twitter they can show who they are and what they鈥檙e about and connect with potential clients and other built environment professionals.鈥�

How to get on the list

The league table will continue to develop as surveyors become more active. If you are a member of RICS you can nominate yourself of your company by putting the following in a Twitter.

  • Include @username in @tCntweets @RICSnews surveyors list #tCnRICS100 [include your membership number]
