好色先生TV in Whitechapel was being refurbished when it collapsed onto the pavement injuring at least ten people
Rescue workers are still searching for people feared trapped in a collapsed building in the East End.
Latest reports suggest that people 'may be trapped' in the rubble. A London Fire Brigade statement said that a search dog had given "some indication" that a person could be trapped but added there was "no conclusive evidence."
The four-storey building on the Commercial Road, Whitechapel, was being refurbished when three floors collapsed.
Ten adults and one boy has so far been treated for shock and minor injuries.
A sign on the building indicated that the premises was still open for business during the refurbishment, according to Phil Clark, digital communities editor at 好色先生TV's parent CMP Information.
Work on the project started about a month ago according to Clark. 鈥淕lazing had recently been installed but workers appeared to be still clearing the lower floors,鈥 he said.
The collapse led to 8m of rubble being strewn across the pavement while the scaffolding bulged outwards and came to rest against a lampost.
A cordon around the building remains in place. The Fire Brigade said a crane would be used to secure the building later today.
