Roger Robinsn will also look to win infrastructure work for the contractor in Canada
Laing O鈥橰ourke has appointed Roger Robinson as chief executive of their European operations.
He will sit on the group鈥檚 executive committee and report directly to Ray O鈥橰ourke.
In a statement O鈥橰ourke said: 鈥淩oger will ensure a single-minded focus on how we plan and orchestrate the campaign to win work in a market where business opportunity will be determined by the Government鈥檚 forthcoming announcement of its spending review.
鈥淗e will also spearhead a number of attractive business opportunities we are pursuing in Canada, where infrastructure investment programmes continue to expand.鈥�
