Interserve has won a 拢35m contract to deliver total facilities management services at a London Hospital.

Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust has appointed the embattled support services and construction firm to the five-year contract.

The company will provide retail and patient catering, cleaning, security, front of house, waste management, energy management, portering and repair and maintenance services to the 450-bed King George Hospital (pictured) based in Redbridge, London.

好色先生TV understands the job to turn a host of shops, including fabric retailers and record stores, into a new hotel, residential and retail, has run into problems with the groundworks.

Interserve declined to comment but scotched reports the job was up to a year late. The client client PMB Holdings was contacted for comment.

The firm did confirm it would be be carrying out less construction work in the capital with its head of construction in the capital, Jeremy James, leaving the business last month.

Interserve鈥檚 fit-out business Paragon will continue to target work in London but the firm鈥檚 building business is now expected to concentrate more on the regions instead including strongholds such as Birmingham.
