Gleeds has announced plans to set up offices in India this year.

Richard Steer, senior partner, said: 鈥淚ndia has fantastic potential. We will focus our operations in Bangalore with additional offices in Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi in the next few months.鈥�

He also said he wanted to expand 鈥渁s quickly as possible鈥� in the US. The company will grow its base in Atlanta to secure more commercial work.

Meanwhile, consultant engineer Hilson Moran is in talks to buy a French M&E firm. Chris Plummer, its director, said he was following clients鈥� requests to cover more work in France.

He said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e doing big commercial and residential work in France, and are exporting our sustainability services.鈥�
