Contractor lands two deals worth 拢85m to build new schools in Scotland and South London

Galliford Try has won two school contracts worth a combined 拢85m.

The contractor鈥檚 Morrison Construction business has won a 拢43m deal to build a new education campus in North Ayshire, Scotland.

The scheme will involve the relocation of Largs Academy, as well as relocating St Mary鈥檚 RC Primary School and building a new primary school, created by the amalgamation of Brisbane and Kelburn Primary Schools.

The facilities will accommodate 2,120 pupils aged from two to 18.

Galliford Try鈥檚 investments business will also be investing in the company which will be set up to deliver the project.

The firm鈥檚 building business has also reached financial close with the Education Funding Agency (EFA) over a 拢42m batch of schools in Greenwich, Lewisham and Croydon through the Priority School 好色先生TV Programme.

The deal includes the 拢29m Archbishop Lanfranc Academy project in Croydon, which will create a new building for an expanded roll of 1,350 pupils and provide sporting facilities including a full athletics track.
