Willmott Dixon, Thomas Vale, Morgan Sindall and Mansell win roles

Willmott Dixon, Thomas Vale, Morgan Sindall and Mansell have won places on the 拢3bn West Midlands regional framework.

The contractors will cover jobs worth more than 拢500,000 a year on the framework, which covers public sector bodies in the region.

The framework led by Birmingham council lasts for a period of four years, with the potential to extend it to eight years.

Work carried out could form part of Birmingham鈥檚 ambitious 拢10bn development masterplan, which was published in September.

John Frankiewicz, chief executive officer of Willmott Dixon capital works said: 鈥淥ur major presence in the West Midlands saw us spend nearly 拢80 million with local companies last year.

鈥淲e are really looking forward to continuing that investment in the local economy by working with Birmingham council on the new framework to realise its ambitious future plans for growth and development across the city.鈥

Paul Smith, chief executive of Morgan Sindall Group, said: 鈥淭his is a major framework and we are delighted that two of the group鈥檚 divisions have secured positions on it.

鈥淢organ Sindall and Lovell working together as Community Solutions West Midlands is a further example of the complementary nature of our divisions鈥 capabilities and the benefit this brings to our Group.鈥
