Associated Architects reveals £5.2m building dedicated to therapy-based product development
Coventry University has opened its Health Design & Technology Institute designed by Associated Architects.
The £5.2m building contains design studios, laboratories, workshops and test areas where researchers and clients can develop and launch of products in community-based therapy.
From the central space there are two wings which provide the main accommodation. On the ground floor the central space provides a product launch area with a series of meeting and seminar rooms.
The building has a zinc spine which links the two wings and inside the lift shaft is also clad in zinc.
Herbert Baggaley Construction was the contractor and VM Zinc and Richardson roofing made and installed the zinc cladding.
