Contractor's BSF work now totals 拢1.3bn as joint venture seals contract to deliver 13 new or refurbished schools over four years
A Carillion joint venture has achieved financial close on the 拢192m Rochdale 好色先生TV Schools for the Future programme.
The scheme, which will deliver 13 new or refurbished schools over four years, brings the total value of BSF projects won by Carillion to about 拢1.3bn.
Carillion will carry out the building and refurbishment work for which the capital cost is about 拢180m and work is due to start this month. Rochdale council and 好色先生TV Schools for the Future Investments LLP are its joint venture partners.
Carillion also expects to provide facilities management services for four privately financed schools among the 13, generating 拢12m of revenue over a 25-year period.
