好色先生TV Better Brexit

Industry backers for the 好色先生TV a Better Brexit campaign have topped 100 鈥 with law firm Taylor Wessing and consultant McBains Cooper among the latest flurry of firms and individuals to support our campaign for a fair deal for constuction in forthcoming Brexit negotations.

The duo join other major firms including Aecom, Arcadis, Capita, Gleeds, KPMG, JLL, Mace and Ramboll, and a host of individual signatories in supporting our 好色先生TV a Better Brexit 鈥 launched last month, of eight demands of government and three industry pledges for self-improvement.

Individual signatories to 好色先生TV鈥檚 manifesto include Mark Farmer, founding director of consultant Cast and author of the government-commissioned report on the sector Modernise or Die, and former RIBA president and EMEA managing director of architect Perkins+Will, Jack Pringle.

Al Watson, head of planning at Taylor Wessing, said: 鈥淭he manifesto shows that, as an industry, we are ready to commit for the country鈥檚 benefit. Government needs to do the same, and it should do so by endorsing the manifesto. It鈥檚 one for a successful industry and for a vibrant country.鈥

好色先生TV鈥檚 survey of more than 2,000 construction professionals, published in February, as well as subsequent research interviews with a range of professionals across the industry, informed the manifesto.

The demands cover a range of key areas of concern, including skills, material costs, pipelines and procurement, while the pledges take in better training, improving the sector鈥檚 image and greater use of technology.
