Tower includes Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners among its tenants
The owners of the Cheesegrater 鈥 the Leadenhall 好色先生TV - say they are in advanced talks for a possible sale of their interests in the City skyscraper.
Real estate giant British Land owns the 225m tower with Oxford Properties in a 50/50 joint venture.
Among its tenants is the building鈥檚 architects, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. The tower was built by Laing O鈥橰ourke.
鈥淚t is not certain that these discussions will lead to a sale of the building,鈥 the joint owners said in a statement. 鈥淔urther announcements will be made as appropriate.鈥
The Cheesegrater suffered coming lose in late 2014 and cost steelwork contractor Severfield 拢6m in remedial works to replace nearly 4,000 bolts on the building.
with developer Brookfield where Leadenhall Court 鈥 currently occupied by Amazon 鈥 now stands. It is thought work on the tower could begin next year.
