Project involves the construction of a new 4,306m2 amenity building
BAM Construct has won a 拢25m contract to build new motorway services for users of the M25.
The development will be located between junctions 9 and 10 on the M25 near a site previously known as New Barn Farm.
Under the contract 鈥 which was awarded by Extra Motorway Services Group 鈥 BAM will construct a 4,306m2 鈥榓menity building鈥 which will comprise retail outlets and a new hotel.
The new facility will also include over 900 spaces for car, caravan and coach parking as well as 72 HGV spaces. BAM has appointed Antony Nagle as its construction manager on the project.
Commenting on the contract award, BAM鈥檚 construction director, Bob Sanders said: 鈥淭his is a major transport development in a significant location.

Main construction work on the amenity building begins in mid-August with project completion scheduled for Summer 2012.
