1 With six awards each, Davis Langdon and Travis Perkins are joint winners, scoring more ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV Awards than any other firm. Davis Langdon won the Surveying Practice category five times in 1995, 1996, 2000, 2001 and 2003, and this year scooped the prize for Project Manager. Travis Perkins won the first ever award for Builders Merchant in 1995, a title it held for a four-year unbeaten run and again in 2000 and 2001.

2 Hot on the leaders' heels are Bovis, Foster and Partners, McCarthy & Stone and Thomas Vale, all with five awards. Sir Frank Lampl won the first ever lifetime achievement in 2002 for Bovis, with the firm also winning Housebuilder in 1995, Major Contractor in 1997, and Project Manager in 1998 and 2000. Foster and Partners kept the title of Best Architectural Practice from 1995 to 1998, and its founding partner won Personality 1996. McCarthy & Stone put in a strong performance, bagging Regional Housebuilder in 1995 and Housebuilder in 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2002. Thomas Vale meanwhile walked off with Regional Contractor (south) in 1997, Regional Contractor in 1999, Contractor in 2001 and Contractor and Best Practice last year.

3 It's a tie for third place between four firms who each won four trophies. Barratt earned the Major Housebuilder title in 1995, 1996 and 2002, and Sir Lawrie Barratt scooped the Personality award in 1997. Kier stole the show in the Major Contractor category in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2004. Mace has taken home trophies in four separate categories: founder Ian McPherson won Personality 2000, Project Manager and Best Practice were won in 2002, and this year it came out on top for Integrated Supply Chain. Finally, St George was Regional Housebuilder in 1997, Housebuilder in 2001 and 2003 and won Sustainability in 2001.
