Finnforest has launched WalkSure, a slip-resistant deck board that provides a colourful alternative to traditional timber decking, suitable for use in external commercial, leisure and communal settings.

Made using Finnforest鈥檚 PEFC-certified, pressure-treated softwood timber, WalkSure is profiled and finished with a textured insert formed from granulated EPDM rubber. Deck boards are available as 28mm x 119mm x 3.6m. It has been independently tested to BS7976 Part 2, conforming to UK slip resistance guidelines.

The softness of WalkSure makes it suitable for play areas or surrounding swimming pools and the rubber layer delivers can provide up to 30db sound damping on footfall noise.

WalkSure is available in the standard colour combination of 鈥淐harcoal/Red鈥� but can be made in six additional colours designed to blend with landscapes such as turf, brick and asphalt.
