This week鈥檚 #buildingdoodle sketch is by Fernando Villa, principal at MAP Architects. It shows the design for a new LGBT senior housing building located adjacent to Crotona Park in the Bronx, NY. Villa says: 鈥淭he design takes advantage of the south facing facade, providing ample views of the park. Here horizontal sunshades control sun exposure. The design team incorporated several green features including green roofs at setbacks and PV panels at the main roof.鈥�
