This week鈥檚 #buildingdoodle sketch is by senior architect Pablo Sanz Claramunt at Weston Williamson + Partners. He says: 鈥淭his cross-section of the new Paddington Elizabeth line station shows how the station configuration provides a legible environment for passengers, with sky views from the platforms through the glazed canopy. The canopy covers an extensive public realm from which escalators and lifts descend. The large voids bring daylight deep into the station to reduce the need for artificial light and allow natural ventilation.鈥
