Engineering consultancy White Young Green has been appointed as environmental consultant on the 拢60m redevelopment of St Austell town centre in Cornwall.
Clients David McLean Developments and the South West of England Regional Development Agency are now seeking to appoint a contractor to the scheme, which will be a retail-led mixed-use development.
White Young Green, which is already working on civil and structural engineering and M&E, will now undertake a geotechnical assessment of the site and associated investigations.
Ian Piper, director of sustainable communities at the SWRDA, said: 鈥淭his appointment will undoubtedly benefit the town of St Austell and its community.鈥
