Consultant White Young Green (WYG) has acquired privately owned transport consultancy Savell Bird & Axon (SBA) for 拢18m.

The acquisition of SBA, which has a turnover of about 拢8m, is WYG鈥檚 fifth deal in 12 months, the most significant of which was Adams Kara Taylor.

Lawrie Haynes, WYG鈥檚 chief executive, said: 鈥淭ransportation consultancy is important for the development of WYG. The SBA team will be a good strategic fit for our multidisciplinary business.鈥�

SBA鈥檚 schemes include the Croydon Gateway, Stevenage town centre, and football stadiums for Cardiff City and Brighton and Hove Albion.
