Construction group's results ahead of expecations as turnover increases by £71m to £374m for 2005.
Construction group WSP has seen its profits grow by 28% in the last financial year.
Turnover for the firm, which included its joint venture with JV & Associates, rose from £322.3m in 2004 to £373.9m for the year ending 31 December 2005.
Pre-tax profit rose from £14.8m to £20.2m, a rise of 36%.
Chief executive Chris Cole commented: "I believe we are well positioned, financially and operationally, to responsibly achieve ongoing strong growth."
Chairman David Turner said: "I am very pleased to report an excellent performance by the group in 2005. Ourfinancial results are well ahead of market expectations showing significantly increased revenue and profit, improved net profit margins, a strengthening order book which has increased by 15% and substantially reduced net debt."
