Engineer strengthens its Glasgow, Birmingham, Leeds and Southern offices
Engineer WSP has announced four UK senior appointments.
Julia Giles (pictured) joins the company’s Glasgow team as director with a specific focus to grow the public sector transportation business in Scotland.
She was previously a leading practitioner in development planning, transport appraisal and evaluation and was the author of Transport Scotland’s Scottish Transport Infrastructure Project Evaluation guidance (STRIPE).
Steve Rayner has been appointed director for the Basingstoke and Godalming building structures teams.
He began his career in engineering at Taylor Woodrow Construction in 1981 and has since designed and project managed iconic projects across the UK and internationally, including the Vauxhall Tower back in the 2000s.
Lisa Jenkinson has become the consultancy firm’s associate director in the Birmingham’s landscape team. She has 14 years’ experience working on large infrastructure projects across the UK.
Brett Little joins the Leeds office as head of pedestrian modelling from his previous role as business development director for pedestrian engineering and major events at PTV Group.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in transport planning and major career highlights include working for Transport for London on the London 2012 Olympic Games, where he was responsible for modelling the route for spectators from transport hubs to venues as well as wider Olympic operations.
