Construction worker Jamuna Ram was hit by a road roller truck
A construction worker was crushed to death yesterday at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Jamuna Ram, 30, of Jharkhand, was working near the taxiway of the newly built runway when he was run over by a road roller truck. Police are investigating.
The accident follows a fatality in February where labourer Bahadue Alam fell 25ft from a crane. In October last year an aviation technician died after being run over by an unidentified vehicle.
The runway is due to complete by July and be fully operational by August.
