Construction of controversial biomedical complex resumes 16 months after animal rights groups forced stoppage.
Work on Oxford University’s controversial lab block on South Parks Road has started again.
Construction on the £20m biomedical complex stopped in July 2004 after building contractor Walter Lilly & Co claimed its staff had been subjected to threats and intimidation from animal rights groups.
The university has brought in a new company and work restarted on 30 November.
