Agreements will run for up to six years from January 2021
Mace, Faithful + Gould and Arup have won places on Scape鈥檚 two consultancy frameworks worth 拢1bn in total.
Two joint ventures won the remaining places on the deals. Triskelion is a joint venture of Arcadis, Sweco and Fairhurst, and Perfect Circle is a team of Pick Everard, Gleeds and Aecom.
One framework, which is worth 拢700m, covers England, Wales and Northern Ireland, while the other 拢300m framework is for Scotland.
Scape Scotland, which is based in Edinburgh, has established its consultancy framework under a separate legal structure to reflect Scottish law and procurement regulation.
The new agreements, which can be used by any public sector organisation, will run from January 2021 until 2025, with the option of a two-year extension.
Each framework has been divided into three lots: built environment, infrastructure and place shaping.
Firms on the built environment lots will provide surveying and design, project management and quantity surveying for new projects and current assets, while the infrastructure lots will provide dedicated consultancy services to support the design, delivery and maintenance of infrastructure across the UK.
The place shaping lots offer strategic advisory services ranging from funding advice, policy development and estate rationalisation, to asset, risk and development management.
Mark Robinson, group chief executive at Scape, said the frameworks had been developed after close consultation with both clients and construction firms. He said the deals had been designed to complement the increased focus on social value in the built environment.
鈥淎 core commitment to community enrichment, job creation, apprenticeships and tangible social value runs through every lot,鈥 Robinson said.
鈥淭he enhanced goals set in these frameworks and the fact that their breadth and scale is greater than what has gone before will ensure they set a new benchmark for positive social and economic impact from professional services in construction.鈥
Jason Millett, chief executive for consultancy at Mace, said the announcement came at a crucial time for both the construction and public sectors. 鈥淭hese are particularly challenging times for the public sector when budgets are under great pressure to deliver more with less,鈥 Millett said.
鈥淲e will draw upon our decades of experience and expertise, working with our expert supply chain to successfully unlock the potential of our clients鈥 projects to create a lasting legacy and societal value for the long term.鈥
The new deals replace the Scape built environment consultancy services framework, which had a value of 拢350尘 and was launched in 2016.
The single-supplier framework, which was awarded to Perfect Circle, delivered more than 1,000 projects.
