Barratt and Hill among firms to land roles on the Oxford deal

Council-owned Oxford City Housing has picked the firms to help it build more than 2,000 low-carbon homes across Oxfordshire over the next decade.

In total, seven companies have won places on the two-lot framework, with Barratt and Hill among those to claim spots on the most valuable lot.

Under the deal, more than 2,000 homes will be built across the county in the coming decade

The pair are joined by Engie Regeneration and Osborne, with the quartet set to be in the running for projects worth more than 拢8m.

Three firms have claimed spots on the lot that will deliver smaller projects, including offsite specialists Buildeco and Impact Modular.

Thames Valley-based Feltham Construction is the final winner.

OCHL wants to build 2,245 homes on sites across the county and to either achieve 40% carbon reduction from the Future 好色先生TVs Standard or build to Passivehaus standards.
