Technal’s new range of products can be specified for residential projects
Architectural aluminium facade specialist, Technal, has launched a range of new window, door and curtain walling products, which can be specified for residential projects. All of the products are Part L compliant. The Soleal casement window range is available in tilt/turn, pivot, bottom and projecting top hung window options, and horizontal sliding and tilt/slide balcony door configurations, and achieves the BS EN 14351 standard. The Soleal door range is a high performance thermally broken commercial door available in pivot and hinged configurations, and as a single door with a disabled access threshold. The Soleal door range meets Part M for access to and use of buildings. The firm has also introduced a concealed parallel opening vent option for Technal’s MX curtain walling, which it says gives specifiers the opportunity to increase natural ventilation as an alternative to tilt/turn and top hung vents. The new MX curtain walling option achieves the BS EN 13830 standard.
