Big names took centre stage during the first day of Digital ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV Week.
The four-day event kicked off with a keynote interview of Simone de Gale chief executive of Simone de Gale Architects.
Carried out by Elizabeth Hopkirk, assistant editor of ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV Design, ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV’s sister title, the interview took place at 9am.
The first webinar discussion of the week began at 11am and centres on the future of construction, key trends and technologies.
The panel, which was chaired by ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV’s chief reporter Jordan Marshall, was made up of Dimitris Vernon, manager of customer success at Autodesk Construction Solutions, Dr. Marzia Bolpagni, senior BIM advisor at Mace, Tim Kay, senior digital manager at Multiplex and Finbarr McMeel, technical director at Gilbert-Ash.
The final session looked at individual case studies from industry leaders as they share some of the most exciting new technologies being used and applied across projects worldwide.
The panel included Razvan Gorcea, international BIM project manager at Hilti BIM Competence Centre, Jaimie Johnston, director at Bryden Wood, James Pickard, founding director of Cartwright Pickard, Philip Watson, director and head of design at HLM, and Ben Robinson, computational designer at Hawkins\Brown.
It was chaired by ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV’s group techincal editor Thomas Lane.
