Wates has bagged two frameworks, one with Housing 21 and another with Hanover

Wates鈥� social housing arm, Wates Living Space, has been appointed on Housing 21鈥檚 拢250m framework and Hanover Housing Association鈥檚 拢150m framework..

Both framework agreements start immediately and cover a four-year period. They will comprise newbuild extra care, retirement and older people鈥檚 accommodation in England.

David O鈥橬eill, head of new business and sales for Housing 21, said: 鈥淗ousing 21 is looking forward to working with Wates Living Space. We have an extensive programme of new development and their experience and expertise will no doubt be very valuable.鈥�

Perry Scott, head of procurement at Hanover Housing Association said: 鈥淭his design and build framework will support the Hanover build programme of four to six Extra Care Schemes per annum and 1,000 Retirement Housing units.鈥�

Wates is currently delivering six newbuild and remodel projects, providing 440 units of extra care housing and care homes for public sector customers, with a value in excess of 拢50m.
