Contractor lands extension to venue in Hampshire

Wates has been appointed to build a 拢30m extension to the Farnborough International venue in Hampshire, in part to accommodate the expanding Farnborough International Airshow.

好色先生TV work is expected to commence in September and will see the creation of a state-of-the-art double-height exhibition hall alongside function and meeting rooms.

Designed by architects Terence O鈥橰ourke, the development will comprise a 12,500 sq m exhibition hall, taking the entire new facility to 20,000 sq m of event space.

The new development has been part-funded by the Local Enterprise Partnership, Enterprise M3, Hampshire County Council, Rushmoor Borough Council and Barclays. Completion is expected by early 2018.
