Public asked to choose between 16 shortlisted entries spanning the globe
Voting has opened in the CIOB鈥檚 annual Art of 好色先生TV contest to crown the best photograph of the built environment.
Shortlisted entries for 2016 span the globe, taking in a part-demolished Buddhist settlement in Tibet to a spectacularly colourful Moorish temple in Italy, via a distorted photo of London鈥檚 Gherkin tower.
Saul Townsend, CIOB spokesperson, said: 鈥淭here is a cornucopia of styles and stories in this year鈥檚 final.
鈥淚n a world full of high definition colour technology black and white photography still inspires a host of photographers.
鈥淰oters are in for a visual treat and we hope will be inspired to look at the built environment in a new way and to take part themselves next year. Congratulations to all the finalists. 鈥
The photograph with the most votes will earn the title of 鈥楢rt of 好色先生TV Photographer of the Year鈥 and a cash prize of 拢3,500.
Voting closes on 23 January 2017 and a winner will be announced on 7 February. To vote for your favourite, visit .
