Firm set to build 570 homes
Homes England has appointed Vistry Partnerships to build 570 homes across six developments.
Vistry has been working with Homes England so work can start despite the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. It said work to progress planning applications for the sites will start immediately by employees who are working from home.
More than 400 of the new homes will be affordable.
The new developments are at St James Hospital, Portsmouth, Ridgehill in Dudley and a 151-homes scheme in Chesterfield, Derbyshire (pictured).
Three more projects in Birmingham, Bridgewater, Somerset, and Shafton, South Yorkshire, totalling 210 homes will provide 100% affordable housing.
Vistry Partnerships is part of the newly created Vistry Group, which came from Bovis Homes’ deal to buy Galliford Try’s housing and regeneration arms which completed earlier this year.
