New York's most famous landmark has just gone eco
Two-minute documentary on the project to retrofit New York’s Empire State ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV with energy efficient technology. Through a series of upgrades – replacing windows, integrating smart light systems, upgrading heating and cooling systems, and more – the building will achieve LEED certified gold status. The $13.2m project aims to achieve annual energy savings of $4.4 million and the work should pay for itself in three years.
