Universal Music is leaving its current home in Kensington for Argent鈥檚 King鈥檚 Cross development
Universal Music has signed a pre-let for Four Pancras Square, part of Argent鈥檚 Kings Cross development, and plans to move in upon the buidling鈥檚 completion in the summer of 2017.
The company is currently based in Kensington but will move its 1,000-plus workforce and sister companies Universal Music Publishing and See Tickets to the 177,000 sq ft building.
The 10-storey building, designed by Eric Parry Architects, features a roof-top garden, balconies at all levels and a 10,000 sq ft restaurant at ground and lower ground floor.
David Joseph, chairman and chief executive of Universal Music UK, said: 鈥淜ing鈥檚 Cross is fast emerging as a creative hub for London. It鈥檚 going to be an energising place to work and feels like a natural home for Universal Music with many opportunities for collaboration and inspiration literally on our doorstep.鈥
