Consultant says it is ready to make most of outsourcing opportunities in public sector
Public sector consultant Tribal Group, which owns architect Nightingale and social housing consultancy Hacas, said it has seen a rise in secured income since the start of the year.
The firm, which is looking to sell Nightingale, said committed income stood a 拢278m, up 28% from the start of the year. The company has now secured 68% of its planned revenue for the year, compared to 65% at this stage last year, and said it was making progress on its cost reduction plan.
However, in an interim management statement today, it reported no progress on the sale of Nightingale. It said: 鈥淲e are continuing to explore the strategic options for each of our three support services businesses and we will provide a further update on progress in due course.鈥
Peter Martin, Chief Executive, said: "Tribal is very well-positioned to support public sector organisations as they undertake change and to participate in an expected acceleration of outsourcing opportunities that will contribute to the improvement in public sector efficiencies.鈥
