Firm’s order book hits £3.4bn
Galliford Try has said business was in line with expectations in the first six months of the year, in a trading update this morning.
The firm said it will book one-off acquisition and integration costs following its deal to buy collapsed contractor NMCN’s water business last October for £1m.
Average month-end cash for the six months to December 2021 was £180m, up from the £164m posted in the year to last year. Period end cash was flat at £210m.
The firm’s order book stands at £3.4bn with recent wins including landing a place on the Department for Education 2021 construction framework and a the £55m scheme to build a community centre in Galashiels for Scottish Borders Council
Galliford Try will release its interim results on 3 March.
