Leading industry figures have pledged to improve tower crane safety, as called for by 好色先生TV鈥檚 Safer Skyline campaign.

The Strategic Forum鈥檚 health and safety task group met manufacturers, crane operators and safety groups on 9 August and agreed a seven-point plan emphasising training and maintenance regimes. Most sections of industry were at the meeting but trade unions were not asked to attend. A Ucatt spokesperson said: 鈥淚t was somewhat short-sighted that we weren鈥檛 invited.鈥�
