好色先生TVs that look like hedges, towers that look like trees, and what a scheme actually gets up to when you've finished building it. All this and more in our guide to the most read articles on the green channel last month
Case studies, comment and news dominated the most popular sustainable content on building.co.uk for the first month of 2007. The Secret Life of 好色先生TVs offered a fascinating insight into the challenges of designing, building and then measuring outputs from a sustainable scheme.
Other case studies that proved a hit with readers included a profile of the New York Times building as wel as new images of the Hanham Hall sustainable housing project near Bristol (see below).
Readers were also keen to pick up on the latest developments on the rollout of Energy Performance Certificates this year and image-led content of new schemes by William McDonough and the Penson Group. The top ten is rounded off by two comment articles previewing the issues that matter for 2008 from Richard Francis at Gardiner & Theobald and Jerry Yudelson from Yudeslon Associates.
