Investigation begins into causes of two fires at site in Northern Ireland; police have not ruled out foul play
Pensioners had to be evacuated from their homes this weekend following a double blaze at a timber-frame construction site in Northern Ireland.
Fire crews were called to the site at Dungannon, County Tyrone, at 5am on Saturday to deal with a small fire at one of the houses under construction.
Two hours later, a second fire broke out which destroyed four Housing Executive houses and severely damaged a fifth.
The area was cordoned off while police carried out their enquiries.
An investigation has been launched to establish the cause of the blazes, with the Fire and Rescue Service saying it had not ruled out foul play.
