Jigsaw piece 1: The Atkins Think Tank
The Atkins Think Tank is the plenary stage for the Think conference open to all visitors to Think. In conversation with leading facilitator Greg Clark, the likes of Howard Bernstein, chief executive of Manchester City Council, Keith Clark, chief executive of Atkins and other industry gurus will plot a course for a socially, economically and environmentally sustainable built environment.Jigsaw Piece 2: ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV's Innovation Centre
The Innovation Centre is ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV magazine's guide to delivering sustainability. It features three seminar areas, offering visitors exceptional exposure to the real thought leaders including Arup, Balfour Beatty, Gardiner & Theobald and Atkins.HOK Architects host The Intelligent ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTVs Group stage - unique seminars covering issues such as Wired Up Communities, Intelligent Cities and the challenges of supporting an ageing population. A must for those who like to think outside of the box and in to the future.
Arup are staging a series of seminars presenting their vision for delivering sustainable buildings in the Future ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTVs area of the show, in association with ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV. The firm will offer its design strategy and six objectives for making cliants to imagine how it is possible to move towards fully sustainable buildings. Advice will include how to reduce carbon, how to minimise water and waste usage and how to source sustainable materials.
Gardiner & Theobald are playing host to ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV's Specifier Live seminars, a programme aimed at highlighting must have technology, product, materials or process innovations.
Jigsaw Piece 2: Property Week's Property and Investment Zone
Visitors will be able to meet a host of clients, developers, agents, consultants and public sector delivery bodies driving socially and environmentally responsible regeneration in the UK.Eversheds host Invest UK - a showcase of the UK which will appeal to developers and investors keen to find out where they get the biggest bang for their buck. Hear from leading developers Lend Lease and Grosvenor Estates, URCs such as Central Salford, Sunderland Arc and New Swindon and network with the leading regenerators in the UK on their home turf.
BURA are hosting the Urban Regeneration Zone - an exciting programme of regeneration flavoured events staged in a trendy bar environment. The Urban Regeneration Zone also offers a showcase of models of sustainable developments from the UK and beyond.
