Electronics firm Siemens has unveiled plans for a £30m conference and exhibition centre in London’s Docklands, which should be ready for the 2012 Olympics
Pringle Brandon leads a design team that also includes Wilkinson Eyre Architects and Arup. The Siemens Pavilion is intended to be a permanent showcase for low-carbon technologies, and will include photovoltaic cells, rainwater harvesting, water-efficient appliances, ground source heat pumps and solar water heating.
