Planning permission has finally been granted for Land Securities’ Fenchurch Street Tower after being called in.
Also known as the Walkie-Talkie tower, architect Rafael Viñoly designed the building to include London’s highest public park. The scheme will also accommodate 600,000ft2 of office space, a cafe and retail areas. Bovis Lend Lease is tipped to win the contactor’s role.
