Closing date is next week for tender to rebuild or refurbish dozens of aging overground stations
Transport for London has put out a tender for the rebuilding or refurbishment of 44 stations on its overground rail network.
The organisation took over the network in 2007, which was previously run by private operator Silverlink, and has already promised to refurbish the aging stock of stations.
The tender, published today, calls for bidders to provide 鈥渆nhancement of 44 existing north London region and Southern region rail station facilities, fixtures, fittings, finishes, lighting, signage/branding and the decommissioning and removal of redundant systems equipment and cabling鈥.
The closing date for interested applicants is 13 February, with applicants chosen on a best price basis.
