Candy & Candy has appointed Terry Starr construction director of its 拢959m Chelsea Barracks development.

The luxury developer snapped up Starr after he left Westfield鈥檚 Stratford City project last month. Starr, who was a director at Sir Robert McAlpine before he joined Westfield, will oversee the construction of the 12.8 acre residential development, to be designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.

He said: 鈥淚 decided to join simply because I was impressed by the commitment to excellence and wanted to be part of its success.鈥�

Candy & Candy has also poached Gary Edwards, M&E manager at Multiplex, to support its building services team.
