Balfour Beatty project becomes first airport building in UK to achieve BREEAM rating
Balfour Beatty鈥檚 拢460m Heathrow Terminal 2B project has become the first airport building in the UK to achieve a BREEAM rating.
The project for airport owner BAA achieved a rating of 鈥渧ery good鈥� under the internationally recognised sustainability standard.
Terminal 2B is part of a major capital investment programme by BAA at Heathrow airport.
Julian Foster, BAA Terminal 2B project director, said: 鈥樷�橳his is a first class result and we are delighted that Heathrow leads BREEAM amongst all other UK Airports.鈥�
