GMB members at Laing O'Rouke are to walk out in bonus row at Terminal 5.
Construction workers at Heathrow鈥檚 Terminal 5 have voted overwhelmingly to go on strike.
Over 98% of members of the GMB trade union who voted backed industrial action. They are employed by civil engineering firm Laing 翱鈥橰辞耻谤办别.
They want a 拢1 per hour increase in their bonuses, which would increase their overall earnings by 5%.
The last offer of 22 pence per hour was rejected last month.
I urge Laing O鈥橰ouke to talk to us as soon as possible if they want to avoid strike action.

The union said the bonus scheme had not been reviewed in three years and is lagging behind that of other workers on the site.

Three hundred Amec workers, represented by UCATT, T&G and GMB, have also lodged a claim for an extra 拢1 an hour to match bonuses won by electricians and steelworkers.
